One palette, every zone

Acoustic wall panels, ceiling islands, desk dividers and acoustic wall art: one felt palette, four categories, and the rules that decide which of them reaches which product.

You already know which colours you want. This page tells you where you can actually have them.

One project rarely means one product - a wall here, a ceiling island there, screens between the desks. Each is made differently, and that quietly changes which felts are available. Here you see it all at once, family by family and product by product: exactly what can be ordered today. Choose your palette once and carry it through the whole scheme.

Two rules

Category A: Category A is the only felt without a fire classification. Anything fixed to a wall or a ceiling has to be flame retardant right through, so category A stays out of those products. It is not a stock issue - it is a safety one.
Category C: Category C is a beautiful felt, but it does not take kindly to being shaped over our 3D patterns - it creases, only slightly, but enough to stop looking perfect. Wherever a panel carries a 3D pattern, category C steps aside.

The colours

Category A3 colours

100% PP · 580 ±10% g/m² · 3.8 ±10% mm · no fire classification

Synthetic felt. Part of it is regranulate - material recovered from recycling and reprocessed, rather than made from scratch. The share depends on the colour: 30% in A5318, 80% in A5212, 100% in A5320. It is the only category with no fire classification, which is why every wall and ceiling mounted product excludes it.

Category B31 colours

100% wool · 0.25 ±10% g/cm³ · 3 ±10% mm · M1 (UNE 23272)

Natural wool, mulesing-free. Certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 Product Class I - the strictest product class, written for articles intended for babies and children up to three years old. It also carries an Environmental Product Declaration and REACH compliance.

Category C39 colours

100% polyester · 500 ±10% g/m² · 3 ±10% mm · B-s1 d0 (EN 13501-1), ASTM Class A

Polyester, and the most abrasion resistant of the four: tested above 50,000 Martindale cycles. Fire classified on both sides of the Atlantic - EN 13501-1 B-s1,d0 in Europe and ASTM E84 Class A in the United States.

Before you specify

Colour on screen: Every swatch here is our own photograph of the real material, shot to land as close to the truth as a screen allows. Still, a screen is a screen: your display has its own idea of colour, and wool is a natural material, so batches can differ by a whisper. When the decision becomes binding, ask us for samples - we send them gladly.
pCon planner: Most of our products can be configured in pCon planner, with the same exclusions you see here already built in - it will not let you specify something we cannot make. Our newest pieces are still finding their way in, and we are working on it.
Tell us what is missing: This page gets better every week, and it improves fastest when someone tells us what is wrong with it. Unclear, incomplete or plain mistaken - write to us. The criticism especially.
