Vivid ideas lead to creating spaces that stimulate. The new headquarters of Envio is located in Bydgoszcz, Poland. An old building served as the nonobvious base for the entire process of crea-tion. The architects had to thoroughly understand the client's needs in order to create a place condu-cive to work, but still with a little bit of edge their both famous for. One of the highest priorities was the space to be as stimulating and employee-centred as possible - incorporating our solutions was a no-brainer as both designers admitted.
The idea of work life balance is practiced by the entire team and we applaud to that big time. The Envio employees had been accustomed to living very balanced life, meaning dividing the time into its core working part and the more festive one, so every birthday and any off-the-clock fun can be had. Our panels couldn’t have found a more perfect space to work their magic in.
The Colline ones covered the walls in conference rooms - those have a multipurpose character allow-ing to hold either a more intimate meeting or a more extensive one with more attendees - the mid-dle wall can be folded so that the two separate rooms upgrade into one bigger one. Colline panels serve in the two smaller rooms variant, which makes perfect sense - two different meetings can be run without the smallest distraction now.
Colline, as our most appreciated and awarded product range to date, by appearing in the CEO’s office, adds a desired level of class and prestige to it.
Basalt and Jasper panels found their place on the ceiling. Jasper can draw attention of anyone entering the office, since the panels were hung in the entrance hall. As far as the colour blocking technique goes, Jasper is a firm promoter of the idea. The panels were lined precisely one after another, so that no gap in between can be found.
When it comes to Basalt, the geometrical panels make the open space, where most of the employ-ees do most of their work in, feeling snug and secure. Placed right above desks, they tone all the noises down, partly covering the open ceiling as well.
The client wanted an elegant space, but with a homey character. Soft elements on the wall and cur-tains allowed to achieve the intended effect. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and the way our Colline, Jasper and Basalt just tied everything up visually, adding our signature acoustic value at the same time.
