Flowing on lands, bringing the joy to eyes and ears of anyone who wanders around - this can accurately describe both an actual hill and our Colline panel. Colline will find its place in every space providing countless possibilities of personalisation. It merges a significantly level of sound absorption, exceptional look and modular construction with a wide range of colours and accessories enabling full customisation. Which felt can you specify for Colline?

Colline is a wall mounted acoustic panel, so category A is excluded and 111 felt colours remain. The decorative metal trims add four finishes on top of that: gold, silver, black and copper.

Frequently asked questions

How well does Colline absorb sound?

Colline reaches alpha w = 0.40, sound absorption class D. Practical absorption coefficients at 125, 250, 500, 1000, 2000 and 4000 Hz: 0.05 / 0.15 / 0.40 / 0.50 / 0.65 / 0.70. Measured in a reverberation room to PN-EN ISO 354 and classified to EN ISO 11654. Test report: ProperSound, 19 August 2022.

Is Colline soundproof?

No. Colline absorbs sound and shortens reverberation time, which makes speech from neighbouring desks less intelligible and less distracting. It is not a soundproof partition and does not replace a wall. Acoustic panels reduce noise; they do not block it.

What is Colline made from?

Colline is made from acoustic felt, available in four categories: 100% polypropylene (580 g/m2, 3.8 mm), 100% wool (3 mm), 100% polyester (500 g/m2, 3 mm) and 100% wool (840 g/m2, 3 mm). Flammability is certified to EN 13501-1 and, depending on category, to ASTM E-84-18 Class A or UNE 23272 M1.

Where is Colline typically used?

Colline is used in open-plan offices, meeting rooms, receptions and focus areas, wherever speech and reverberation make it hard to concentrate.

Is office acoustics mandatory in Poland?

Yes. In Poland, providing adequate acoustics in office spaces has been obligatory since 2018. An acoustic ceiling alone rarely meets the requirements, which is why additional solutions such as free-standing dividers or ceiling islands are used.

Yes. Assembly instructions for Colline are available free of charge and without a form at https://acustio.com/downloads/manuals/, in Polish and English.
