Zachte rondingen en een rustig ritme. Een modulair systeem dat rust en balans in de ruimte brengt - zacht van vorm, precies in functie.
ORDE EN GEOMETRIE

Gedefinieerd door strakke lijnen en ritmische herhaling brengen Daggs structuur en visuele rust aan plafonds. Hun royale breedte maximaliseert het absorberende oppervlak, terwijl montage en onderhoud eenvoudig blijven. De eilanden reiken over zittende gebruikers - een cruciaal functioneel detail dat geluid snel opvangt in open ruimtes en vergaderzalen.

MONTAGESYSTEEM. VOLLEDIGE VRIJHEID

Dankzij een nauwkeurig ontworpen draagframe zijn Daggs te configureren voor elke ruimtelijke eis. De eilanden hebben bewust geen geïntegreerde verlichting, waardoor armaturen van elke fabrikant passen.
Modules sluiten naadloos aan tot doorlopende composities en decoratieve pendels kunnen door de vlakke rand van het eiland lopen. Ook kan lineaire verlichting tussen de eilanden worden geplaatst - pas simpelweg de constructieafstand aan voor een systeemspleet tot 20 cm.

About Acoustic

There is some extensive research showing how big of an impact acoustics have on every aspect of our lives.

Their role in a workplace is key. Acoustics influence our concentration, efficiency and overall comfort of working. Providing adequate acoustics in a room demands a comprehensive approach based on the selection of partitions with appropriate sound insulation and of sufficiently silent electric and electronic devices. Ensuring appropriate office acoustics has been obligatory in Poland since 2018. Let’s not forget that an acoustic ceiling very rarely meets the legal requirements and doesn’t provide high comfort of working whatsoever. Hence the need of placing external acoustic systems occurred, for example, free-standing room dividers.

Which felt can you specify for Dagg?

Dagg is a ceiling mounted acoustic island, so category A is excluded and 111 felt colours remain. The suspension adapters come in four finishes.

Frequently asked questions

How well does Dagg absorb sound?

Dagg reaches alpha w = 0.90, sound absorption class A. Practical absorption coefficients at 125, 250, 500, 1000, 2000 and 4000 Hz: 0.35 / 0.65 / 0.90 / 1.00 / 1.00 / 1.00. Measured in a reverberation room to PN-EN ISO 354 and classified to EN ISO 11654. Based on the test report of the identical Jasper panel construction: Building Research Institute (ITB), Warsaw, no. LA00-1871/15/Z00NA.

Is Dagg soundproof?

No. Dagg absorbs sound and shortens reverberation time, which makes speech from neighbouring desks less intelligible and less distracting. It is not a soundproof partition and does not replace a wall. Acoustic panels reduce noise; they do not block it.

What is Dagg made from?

Dagg is made from acoustic felt, available in four categories: 100% polypropylene (580 g/m2, 3.8 mm), 100% wool (3 mm), 100% polyester (500 g/m2, 3 mm) and 100% wool (840 g/m2, 3 mm). Flammability is certified to EN 13501-1 and, depending on category, to ASTM E-84-18 Class A or UNE 23272 M1.

Where is Dagg typically used?

Dagg is used in open-plan offices, meeting rooms, receptions and focus areas, wherever speech and reverberation make it hard to concentrate.

Is office acoustics mandatory in Poland?

Yes. In Poland, providing adequate acoustics in office spaces has been obligatory since 2018. An acoustic ceiling alone rarely meets the requirements, which is why additional solutions such as free-standing dividers or ceiling islands are used.
